LOST: The Other Generation - Episode Eight by Kevin
Episode Eight "See The Light- Part Two"
This is the second part of the 'season finale' (if you will). I would expect more episodes to come in late January/early February.
A few general comments:
I will not leave any plot threads hanging, everything is planned out pretty well. And I think the next (and final) 'season' of L:TOG is going to be more exciting than the first. Will get more into Island history, will touch upon some mysteries but I'm not going to forcefit anything just to say I touched on it. With that said, I do plan on getting into some fun stuff.
I will not talk about any future episodes in any detail, and I am still going to remain silent
in the comments section. If you believe something is amiss, by all means mention it. I also appreciate all the kind words. Sorry I have remained silent, but I know myself...if I begin commenting here or in the forum, I'll say too much. Right now I'd rather preserve the drama as it is presented in the story.
If you like the story, please pass it on by word of mouth. I have not promoted this series in the least...for lack of confidence. Besides that, I didn't know where else to post it.
Finally, allow me to explain the basic plan.
There are two major portions (seasons) of this story. Again, the next of which I'm guessing would be 8 or 10 episodes long. There is POINT B, which deals more with 'The Other Generation' And in case you haven't figured it out, TOG isn't exactly Sawyer and Desmond. :)
I first needed to get from POINT A (what you've been reading) to POINT B. If I had started at POINT B, I think I'd have about two people reading this...continually questioning if I had any idea how I got there...or if I just started there and began to pull things from a hat. The plan for this portion of the story (POINT A) was to avoid that confusion by going, basically from a reasonable starting point (10th anniversary of the crash of 815) chronologically to an end point.
And now we are at that end point. Hopefully I've earned some trust along the way, for better or worse, I know exactly where this thing is headed.
And any outstanding questions about the time period covered over these episodes will be dealt with in flashback in subsequent episodes. Should be fun...it wouldn't be worth writing unless somebody is reading, so let me know if you're still reading them. Hope you enjoy.

LOST: The Other Generation - Episode Seven by Kevin
Episode Seven: "See The Light - Part One".
First part of a two-part 'mini-finale' that will bookend this portion of the story. Think of this as the end of 'season one' - there will only be two seasons. Between 16 and 20 episodes total for the entire story. I don't want to drag it out and I'm sure any of you still reading don't want it to drag out. 'Season two' will focus more extensively on 'the other generation'.
I apologize for the cliffhangers in this episode seven...once again, just trying to do this classic-LOST style. But fear not, I'll be posting Part Two today as well.
Part of writing in clasic-LOST-style is to intentionally confuse. For example (as mentioned by one person in the Ep. 2 comments) - the idea that there were only 4 people on Ajira and that Walt was one of them. To me, it was quite obviously a lie, in that it would have been an EGREGIOUS oversight on my part. You can trust me to not have a major F-up. I assure you. :) To sum, whether you like the story or not is one issue, but I am not going to screw up something that bad. I KNOW CANON and consider it of utmost importance to follow it, religiously.
Although I did use "Ray" (who is dead)in a quick mention as Kate's father (that is still alive) rather than Wayne. I caught that mistake myself but only after I posted the story. Other than that, I think the story is airtight to this point...I've been trying as hard as I can to even avoid something that small. Episode 8 on its way.

LOST Season 6 Undeleted Scenes: Hugo Wakes Nobody by BalkOfFame
Jokes aside, I do think Hurley hoped to wake his friends in these first three scenes. Even the one with Locke - thanks to the flash sideways' twisty timeline, I think Hurley had awoken by that scene.
I also find all three of these relationships more interesting than Hurley and Libby's. I think Hurley had more interesting / significant relationships with EVERYONE in the church than with Libby, except for Penny, and perhaps Juliet. I even partly wish Cynthia Waltros couldn't schedule a season 6 return, because that would have forced the writers to make Hurley and Charlie wake each other.
Yes, it seems odd that Hurley woke up to Libby when he spent such a brief period with her. But it was a significant period. I think Hurley awoke not so much to Libby as a person as to the breakthroughs he experienced with her. With Libby, Hurley conquered his dependence on food and his lingering insanity - in a single episode!
During their "memorable kiss" in "Everybody Loves Hugo," Hurley convinces Libby that she's sane, and it's this reversal, this reminder of his epiphany while alive, that wakes him. Hurley's moving on with Libby is like Locke's entering the church with usable legs.
This reversal also reminds us why Libby was interested in Hurley in the first place. When she convinced Hurley he was sane, this affected her emotionally because she herself had once believed herself crazy.
